The location allowed easy access to key attractions nearby.
I was really let down by the lack of hot water that never improved during our stay. We often found ourselves without a shower, which was incredibly inconvenient. Additionally, the communication with the host was frustrating, as I had to wait a long time to receive the door code, and even reaching them was a challenge.

first of all, be warned, the breakfast is just pathetic little store-bought pastries, not even warm. And the shampoo was so tiny, I thought, could I have at least received a conditioner? I expected a welcoming gift or upgrade for my troubles, but clearly that’s too much to ask. almost considered a good review, but just couldn’t.

great easy access to local parks and attractions for city walkers
the central location made it super easy for me to explore the nearby Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, just under a kilometer away, and to enjoy serene walks in Schenley Park, which is almost 2 km from the guest house, allowing me to soak in the city vibes while staying comfortably close to key attractions.

Highly Recommend for couples looking to unwind
The host was really good! I was impressed with how they ensured there was a variety of breakfast options waiting for me each morning, the fresh fruit and oatmeal made a real difference. The bed was comfortable, I haven’t slept that well in ages, and I appreciated the portable radiators they provided considering it was freezing outside.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but it’s still worth it for the quality.

What a lovely little gem! My room was cozy, and the overall vibe reminded me of a charming great-aunt's home. The common area was like a library—plenty of books to get lost in.
Just don’t expect a spa experience.

This was just a fitting option for a concise stay in Pittsburgh with exceptional value. The shower in our room had warm water and low pressure, but it worked just fine for a quick rinse after a long day. Make sure to ask for the door code ahead of time to avoid any confusion upon arrival.
